Meet 'The Lovely', our light-filled, four bedroom holiday home in a quiet, leafy street in Boambee East. You are 6 minutes from Sawtell Beach and 8 minutes from Coffs Harbour, so beach days, cafe breakfasts and the Big Banana are all close by, but you come home to peace and quiet.

Inside the house
Living and dining. The open-plan lounge has two 3-seater sofas, an armchair and a 65 inch TV, with sliding doors out to the patio. There is a 7-seat dining table plus a breakfast bar with 3 stools, so everyone has a place at mealtimes.
Kitchen. A fully equipped kitchen with microwave, sandwich press and Nespresso machine. We leave a few extras to get you started, including coffee pods, tea, porridge and milk.
Bedrooms. The master has a king bed, ensuite and built-in robes. There are two queen bedrooms and a double bedroom with a workstation. Three of the four bedrooms have air conditioning, and every bed is made up with 5 star linen and towels.
Bathrooms and laundry. The family bathroom has a bath and shower, with a separate toilet next door, plus there is a second separate toilet. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. The laundry has a washing machine, powder and a clothes line in a sunny spot.
Outdoors. The north facing patio has 4 sun loungers, a dining table for 7 and a 2-burner BBQ. It is the spot for morning coffee, sunset drinks and cooking up the fish you caught at Boambee Creek.
Travelling with little ones? A port-a-cot is available on request (please bring your own linen).
Things to do near Boambee East
- Beaches: Sawtell Beach is 6 minutes away. Park Beach in Coffs Harbour is patrolled all year round, and Boambee Beach is a favourite with dog owners.
- Family attractions: the Big Banana Fun Park, Dolphin Marine Conservation Park and the Coffs Harbour Butterfly House are all a short drive away.
- Sawtell village: fig-lined First Avenue has cafes, gelato, restaurants, boutique shops and a local cinema.
- Creeks and nature: kayak or fish at Boambee Creek, walk in Bongil Bongil National Park, or picnic at Boambee Creek Reserve.
- Whale season: from May to November, watch for humpback whales from the headlands at Sawtell and Muttonbird Island.
- Day trips: head into the hinterland to Bellingen and Dorrigo National Park, or snorkel in the Solitary Islands Marine Park.
- Everyday shopping: Toormina Gardens shopping centre is close by for groceries and supplies.
Travelling with your dog
Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome with approval, and there is a fenced area at the house. Please declare your dog when you book. A pet fee of $35 per pet per night applies. Sorry, we cannot accept cats, restricted breeds or dogs that bark excessively. Boambee Beach, an off-leash dog beach, is just minutes away.
Good to know before you book
- Self check-in with a key safe from 2pm, check-out by 12pm (noon)
- Parking for 1 car in the driveway, plus free street parking. Standard cars, SUVs and minivans only (no trucks or commercial vehicles)
- The whole house is yours, except the garage, which is used for storage
- There is a short incline from the street to the front door
- We do not accept schoolies or school leaver bookings
