Boambee East is a quiet, leafy suburb just south of Coffs Harbour, with gentle hills, friendly neighbours and very little traffic. It is a great choice if you want beach days and family attractions close by, but a peaceful place to come home to. It also works well as a stopover on a long east coast road trip, being roughly halfway between Sydney and Brisbane.
Nearby Boambee Creek Reserve is a favourite for picnics, kayaking, fishing and spotting birdlife, and Sawtell Beach is only 6 minutes' drive away.
Our holiday home, The Lovely, is a light-filled four bedroom house, and the whole place is yours (except the garage, which is used for storage).

Sawtell is 6 minutes' drive from the house. The main beach is patrolled in season, and Bonville Creek at the southern end of town is a popular spot for a paddle. Walk up to the headland for ocean views (and whales from May to November), then wander fig-lined First Avenue for coffee, gelato and lunch.
Travelling with a dog? Dogs are not allowed on Sawtell Main Beach, but Boambee Beach, just to the north, is an off-leash dog beach.
Coffs Harbour is about 8 minutes away. Spend a day at the Big Banana Fun Park, meet the dolphins and seals at Dolphin Marine Conservation Park, walk the Jetty and out to Muttonbird Island, or swim at Park Beach, which is patrolled all year round.
You will also find the big supermarkets, shopping centres and plenty of places to eat.
The stadium is a short drive from Boambee East, which makes our house a practical choice for sporting weekends. We welcome guests throughout the year who are in town for regional events, including:
With 4 bedrooms, a big dining table and a laundry, it suits a family following a junior team or a few parents sharing a house.
