Dog friendly beaches in Nambucca Heads
Nambucca Valley Council has clear rules about where dogs can go, so it is worth planning ahead:
- Off-leash: the northern end of Swimming Creek Beach (from the Swimming Creek beach access north towards Deep Creek) and the northern end of Stuarts Island.
- No dogs: Shelly Beach, Main Beach, Beilbys Beach, Wellington Beach and the V-Wall beaches are dog prohibited areas, even on a leash.
The lookouts and the foreshore walking trail are great for a walk with your dog. Just north, Valla Beach has more off-leash options, including North Valla Beach and South Valla Beach.
